A small wooden hut with a shape inspired by traditional kozolci and seniki.
Once a place to store hay, now a hut for those seeking something different. Everything here is simple and made by Hinko — and that’s what gives it its true charm.
The campsite has two Senkos — Cherry and Chestnut. Both are set on higher ground within the campsite, with Cherry sitting at the top and Chestnut just a bit lower.
The two Senkos share an outdoor kitchen in the forest, as well as a simple wooden shower and toilet, located about 150 m away but you can also use the main campsite sanitary facilities if you prefer.
A day in Senko
You wake to birdsong and the first light over Senica Hill. The air is fresh, the valley slowly coming to life. Coffee is already in the air.
Bare feet in the grass. No plans, no rush. A swim, a canoe trip, a hike — or another rest in the shade.
Later, food from the kitchen Pod Skalo,and the sounds of Senca are colored by music from Frnaža bar. The fire is on, people gather, conversations begin.
In the evening, you return to your small wooden hut. The night is calm. The stars are clear. You fall asleep to the sounds of the valley.
