Explore the hidden gems of the rivers Soča and Idrijca in a canoe, kayak or on a sup. In summer you can swim in the Soča or dive and enjoy the underwater world. You can also swim in the Idrijca river nearby (warmer than the Soča) or take a trip down the river Soča on the panoramic boat Lucija.
The lake experience
The Soča is extremely rich in fish, specially marble trout, so it’s a paradise for fly-fishing enthusiasts.
Activities in nature
The village Modrejce lies at the foot of the hill Bučenica. Take a short hike through the forests to the top, which offers astonishing views of Tolmin and the Soča.
Activities in nature
If you prefer extreme sports and want to see the valley from the bird’s perspective, take a parachute jump from the hill Kobala.
Enjoy Local
Modrejce you can taste some locally produced food: honey, eggs, brandy and cheese. There’s also a fresh water spring to drink from and a hundred-year-old vine to admire.
Enjoy Local
If you are interested, you can peek into our woodworking workshop and buy some unique souvenirs made there from local wood with the addition of Soča stones.
Explore the history
In Most na Soči there are quite a few sights worth visiting, for example: the archeological museum, the 1st World War museum and St. Lucy’s church. Its interior was painted by a well-known Slovene painter, Tone Kralj.
Explore the history
If you are interested in the 1st World War, you’ll enjoy the “Walk of Peace” on the hill Mengore. There you can see and learn a lot about the war, as well as meditate and take in the energy of the spot next to the church of St. Mary of Mengore on the top of the hill.
