Senca is a small family-run campsite, managed by all the members of the Fortunat family. It’s situated just before the village Modrejce, at the foot of the hill Cvetje.

It all started in 2015 with a small wooden barn, which was used for small gatherings. In the next few years the meadow between the barn and our family house was turned into a campsite as a result of growing demand for such facilities. After a few years we added two wooden glamping houses Senko.

Senca is the result of our own ideas and work. Everything here is simple but unique. It’s mostly made of wood and stone with regard for tradition and sustainability. It offers a quality break where you can relax in touch with nature.You’ll get a warm welcome from the parents Hinko and Bojana, their sons Domen, Adam and Vid, and Maja, Domen’s girlfriend.

I’m a dentist. I’m in charge of the blooming garden surrounding our house and keep the campsite neat and tidy.

I’m Hinko’s right-hand man for technical jobs, but also a passionate fisherman and a fishing guide. I know the most attractive hidden spots for fly-fishing along the Soča and other nearby-rivers. Guided adventures along our smaller and less known rivers are simply too good to miss. They’re every fisherman’s dream, especially if/when they are blessed by catching a marble trout.
